The French Valley Vineyard site (at French Road) is host to 75 productive acres of vineyards and Cherry trees. Surrounded by pastoral countryside, French Valley Vineyard feels as if it’s in the heart of nowhere, yet we are just 20 minutes from Traverse City and equal distance to the Homestead in Glen Arbor.
French Valley Vineyard (on French Road) is an extraordinary setting for your private group experience. Take in the magnificent views from our restored barn where you can gaze on what feels like an endless 360 -degree view of the rolling hills of French Valley and beyond. Our Barn and vineyard property can host groups as large as 500 people. We work with local vendors and offer catering services through Wine Country Catering. Dr. Stephen Kozelko, a native of Traverse City, Michigan has been practicing dentistry in Traverse City since 1975. Having grown up in Traverse City he graduated from Central High School in 1968. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 1971. He continued to the University of Michigan Dental School, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1975.
Pam Leonard, the love of Steve's life, originally from Gaylord area is known as the expert party planner. She hosts the most glorious of weddings and events and is also the owner and proprietor of The Vineyard Inn, Wine Country Weddings and Events, among other area hospitality-based businesses.
Steve and Pam set the bar very high when it comes to exceeding their guest's expectations. From a beautiful tasting room overlooking Suttons Bay, to the Vineyard with its pastoral views of French Valley or at Crooked Creek Ranch on Lake Leelanau.
With a passion for restoring and preserving things, Steve and Pam have worked hard to develop locations and structures to be the most beautiful backdrops for private events. Today the farms and the beach front Inn play host to weddings & corporate events for folks from all over the country.

Once upon a “vine” there was a sweet couple who met and fell in love. Along with their love for each other they grew to love the land in Leelanau County. Together they have built many successful businesses. French Valley Vineyards, a 75 acre property with 12 acres of productive grape vines just off French Road, has been producing award-winning wines since 2004.
The latest of their collaborations to come to fruition is French Valley Vineyards Tasting Room at the Vineyard Inn. This new tasting room is a perfect example of their ability to work together to create a unique atmosphere with awe inspiring views, to prepare great food that is meant to pair with the wines they produce. All of their efforts work to provide the perfect back drop for many happy memories.
